Presenting...
I’d like to think I’m not addicted to the internet… My web-experiences started at a young age: my first website was a fanpage for my favorite computer game at the time. Since then I've taken on all sorts of designs and projects. In the past eight years since I began creating websites — four of those professionally — I've learned all sorts of techniques, styles, and systems. I create designs for settings at a world-class university, company executives, and budding writers.
And yet, I am still constantly learning new trends. I am proud of the fact that most of my skill and expertise in web publishing and development has been self-taught. I have learned and mastered many online "languages" including XHTML, PHP, CSS and more. I specialize in the manipulation of content management systems to meet any sort of solution including WordPress, Movable Type, and ExpressionEngine. However, my interest in the entire concept of web development doesn't stop there — more importantly I'm interested in the bigger picture and the impact each of my projects will have on its select community.
Additionally, I am also a sophomore at Barnard College at Columbia University. I am also the online editor of the Columbia Daily Spectator. Between balancing my course load, numerous activities, and this company, I head a project at GenocideCurriculum.org, write for my own blogs including a Tumblr. I also dance with the Ukrainian Dance Company Syzokryli.
And on that note, thank you for your interest in my company, Blog What? Design!
